FAQs
What is the difference between an acne mark and an acne scar?
A mark is a flat patch of colour, red or brown, left after a pimple heals; it fades with time and the right actives. A scar is a change in skin texture, pitted or raised, and needs in-clinic procedures rather than skincare.
How long do post-acne marks take to fade?
Brown marks usually soften over 6 to 12 weeks with consistent use and daily sunscreen; red marks can be slower on their own. Results vary.
Can I use this while I am still breaking out?
Yes. A gentle routine with niacinamide and sunscreen suits acne-prone skin. Introduce products one at a time and avoid layering several strong acids in one night.
Pimple ke daag ke liye kya lagana chahiye?
A niacinamide or tranexamic acid serum at night, a light moisturiser and SPF 50 every morning. Do not pick or squeeze; the mark is often the result of that, not of the pimple.
Do I need sunscreen with this?
Yes, every day. Sun exposure deepens a fresh mark quickly and is the most common reason marks linger.
